Heard the interview w/ Mayor Nagin this morning on the radio. What a rock star, bless 'im. It is times like these when politicians can actually speak their minds. Unfortunate for times like these.
And yes, both the mayor and the interviewer are in tears at the end.
My friends are still MIA since wednesday. I hope, HOPE and pray, that they are on their way out and we'll hear from them soon.
Also worried about the fires that are breaking out. That is what did the majority of the destruction in the 1906 San Francisco earthquakes... the fires that were so difficult to control w/ limited resources. Ugh.
