From the belly of the beast...

I'm so happy that your friend is well, I cried and I don't even know you! And her cats too! It relieved a smidgen of the blistering rage I've been feeling all week. My cat is getting irritated with me waking him up to hold him and pet him all the time. I felt guilty this morning at the grocery store because I could simply pick up a pack of still-warm tortillas and drive home in my car.

I've given all the cash I have and am running an ebay auction to raise more funds to donate to Red Cross. I hope it is alright to post the link here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5029994726&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

I've been against this war the whole time, but it's this sort of unavoidable event that makes any and all wars inconceivable.

take care, everyone
